Over the past seven years, Architektur has been playing "Downbeat" music in Chicago and most recently in Austin. During this time Architektur has also played Downbeat in cities from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Vienna, Austria. Architektur has perfrormed alongside world-renowned artists including: Lazy (featuring members of the Supreme Beings Of Leisure & Bitter:Sweet), Al Haca feat: RQM and Canartic, among others, and was an original member of the "Collective", one of the first residencies at the internationally recognized Sonotheque in Chicago. Since moving to Austin, Architektur has headlined various events and fundraisers including the inaugural aGLIFF Bloom fundraiser; the Stephen Moser "Made In Heaven" fashion show & Peter Max art opening; the L Style G Style premier launch party; the Tribeza Magazine Fashion Week fundraiser & the Estilo fashion show; the LBJ School - Policy Coalition on Culture fundraiser and the infamous Burn the Box anniversary party. Architektur has also performed at the Austin Museum Of Art, Antone's, Sky/Vue, Red Fez, Imperia, Gomi, Factory People, The Flamingo, Light Bar, Karma, Firehouse, Oslo & Ludwigs, among other Austin locales. Architektur will be releasing a new album, Travelogue, on Burning Bowl Records and is currently composing music for documentaries, film and television. Architektur also hosts the Downbeat program "Passport" on Passport Radio, which has featured exclusive interviews with Rodney Hunter, See-I of Thievery Corporation, Gotan Project, Bitter:Sweet and General Electrics/Honeycut, among others.
